Highlights: Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti Safari - Zanzibar

Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport.
Airport Transfer.

If time allows an evening activity will be conducted - liaise with your guide.
Overnight: Lion Paw Ngorongoro Lodge.

Day 2: Morning Ngorongoro Crater + Serengeti Safari.
After breakfast, collect a packed lunch and drive to Ngorongoro crater for a game drive on the crater floor.
The crater is 2000ft. deep, and considered to be the 8th wonder of the world.
Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor.
Olduvai Gorge - The first archaeological findings where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered.
Visit the on-site museum and witness a panoramic view of the historical excavation site. Drive to Serengeti National Park.
Serengeti National Park Depart for the Serengeti National Park, famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains,
as more than 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest's trek for fresh grazing.
Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant's gazelle.
Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowl the southeastern plains.
There is more to Serengeti than large mammals. There are over 500 species of birds, and your guide will also introduce you to the small five'.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park. Morning game drive.
Afternoon game drive.
Optional - Serengeti Hot Air Balloon Flight. Supplement GBP 550.00pp
At approximately 5:00 am, The balloon operating company shall collect you from your safari lodge/ tented camp in one of their custom safari jeeps, for a drive to the hot air balloon launch.
Arrive at the launch site by 6 AM, Here you can watch the balloons being prepared for take-off as you enjoy a cup of Tanzania tea or coffee.
Your balloon pilot will in the meantime give you a safety briefing as well as explain your expectations during the flight.
At the Launch site are basic toilet facilities available. Just before sunrise, at approximately 6:30 AM, you shall board the balloon basket.
The balloon flight lasts approximately one hour and this also depends on prevailing wind conditions, Upon landing, and as part of this unique adventure-you may observe the complete deflation of the balloon.
You shall then be transported to a place for your breakfast. Breakfast is usually set up on the savannah plains of the Serengeti, traditionally under the shade of a lonely acacia tree.
Breakfast is an experience to remember.
Tanzania style, complete with fresh juices, eggs-to-order waiters in traditional costume, and, of course, champagne.
Drop off at your lodge.

Day 4 - 10: Departure Serengeti National Park.
